Minor Threat is always looking for new members who are excited about Roller Derby!
To join, you have to be:
- Between the ages of 4 and 18
- Either gender (Minor Threat is co-ed)
- Excited about playing
- Willing to take a little physical abuse in the name of Derby!
Minor Threat is broken down into teams based skating ability. Younger skaters focus on developing skating skills and having fun on their skates. Skaters who have some confidence progress first to a non-contact version of roller derby, then to JRDA full contact play. Our best skaters play by the unmodified Women’s Flat Track Derby Association (WFTDA) ruleset.
Not sure if Roller Derby is for you? Come to a practice; we have some loaner gear and skates available! We strongly suggest your own mouth guard though 
Steps to join Minor Threat:
- Download, read, and fill out our Registration Packet
- Return pages 1-4 (double-sided if at all possible please – we hate extra paper!) to Minor Threat with your season registration fee
- Keep the remainder of the packet for your records
- Start looking for gear (there’s a gear list in the Registration Packet)
- Come to practice and meet us! Ask any questions you have about gear, practice, the league, or anything else while you’re there.
- When your USARS registration comes through, you’re ready to come out and skate!
